Re: Slow response to Follistim

My first 2 cycles with the injections we weren't able to stimulate them enough. My next cycle we were aat 2 amps a day until day 9, 3 a day until day 15 and 2 a day until day 18 where we inseminated. We had 3 follicles. The insemination didn't work but we were excited to try again. We had great hope for this cycle. But now I am on day 15 at 3 amps a day still and don't have a follicle bigger than 8 cm. It doesn't look very hopeful. If they get going and grow about 2 cm a day we might be able to keep going, but if not, we'll have to scrap this cycle and start over. We spent the last of our money on this cycle so will probably have to wait about 6 months beofre we can continue. My RE hasn't been checking my Estrasiol levels regularly. Do they do that in addition to the vaginal ultra sounds or instead of them? It seems as though where I'm given follicle sizes you're given your estradiol count. Can you explain this more. What does it tell you? What does your count need to be at?
