Re: CNN - Get thin, get pregnant (Victoria/all)From: Mark (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 4 Jul 2002 09:25:02 -0500
See the neurologist. I have neuropathy which is nerve damage. I think excess insulin pools in trigger points causing the damage. I had nerve conduction tests last Nov. The doctor asked if I had diabetes. This was before I knew of PCOS/IR. I was dx in March. I have pain off my right shoulder blade, a herniated disk that has pain going down my leg, and carpal tunnel in both hands. That is what causes tingling in the hands. She has dx Neurontin 3x daily and Celebrex 2x daily. I'm not pain free but my comfort level is better, no more hand tingling. I did see a chiropractor for 6 months and I did feel better for a time and should go for another adjustment. Clara

I also started getting numb toes & pinkie finger because of nerve damage my back was causing. Just a thought. Kirstie In a message dated 04-Jul-02 2:31:15 AM W.
