I think the effect of bcps is different for every woman. They didn't work for me and I am glad to got off them after a couple of months. I think if you go on the pill, you can tell if it is worsening your IR by having your dr check if your blood pressure went up a lot, if your cholesteral went up a lot and if you pcos symptoms are getting worse after a few months going on it.
