Hi Eve. Spironolactone is medication that many PCOSers take to reduce the amount of androgens in their bodies. It helps with excess hair on the body, and thinning head hair. Some women say it works wonderfully, while others say they haven't seen much of a change. Of course, this is just a quick explanatiion. if you take a look at the archives, I know you'll find LOADS of info on it!! Take care Christie Jackson
