In my insurance book, endocrinologists and reproductive endocrinologists are listed as 2 separate categories. Reproductive endocrinologists usually know more about PCOS and how to treat it. (I also know this from personal experience. My regular endo claimed he knew all about pcos....not). If you can't find a breakdown in the phone book, maybe you could call the endo offices and ask if they are reproductive endos or not until you find one.
