We have evidence both for this and against it. The last two research articles I had on the subject were that BCP do not cause diabetes, it makes the chances of getting it less. -- Victoria From: anonymous@obgyn.net (Kimberly) * also, BCP's do make insulin resistance somewhat worse (that is why diabetics should not be on them)so that is something to keep in mind when choosing not to treat the insulin resistance in any way.
