I had a leep done in 1996. Yes, it does affect your ability to carry a child. Although, my OB/GYN said otherwise, my perinatologist definitely thinks that the leep is why I went into premature labor with my twins (21 weeks). I had an abdominal cerclage done...this was the only thing that made it possible for me to carry my second pregnancy to 33 weeks. I just had Quinn on May 11, 2002. I know having the leep was necessary (severe dysplasia with cancer growth), but I would have liked to know that it would affect my ability to carry children the way it did. I might have my twins here otherwise.
