Barb (and whoever else is interested): I am currently reading a book I bought on Amazon.com that is terrific and I highly recommend. It is called "Fibromyalgia & Chronic Myofascial Pain" by Devin Starlanyl and Mary Ellen Copeland. It discusses in major detail Fibromyalgia, Chronic Myofascial Pain Syndrome, and even has some paragraphs and chapters on edema and water retention, neuropathy, etc. It gives details, causes, treatments, and info on a number of perpetuating factors (such as IR and Reactive Hypoglycemia). I thought you'd be interested in reading this due to the many difficulties you have encountered lately, and may be able to learn something and have some insight on what is going on. I discussed some issues I learned from this book with my Physical Therapist, will discuss them with my Neurologist when I see him again in a few weeks, and as soon as I am finished reading it, will make an appt. with a Rhematologist to get to the bottom of things once and for all (I hope).
