Where the fat goes

Well, this is an interesting question. Maybe it has to do with having a waist or not. As I have gained weight, I too have an abdomen, but my thighs are huge, and my butt is huge. The rest is overall body weight. I think the pear shape usually has a waist of some sort. The apple spape just doesn't have a waist. I was wondering how the slim PCOS folks body type is. I am just thinking perhaps there are differences in how the PCOS affects folks, based on body type.

>>This question always confused me, because most of my weight, by *far*,
is in my lower abdomen. I probably carry 1/3 of my weight there! But I am *definitely* a pear shape. I wear a size 24 top and a size 34 bottom! My rear end and thighs are huge in comparison to my chest and shoulders (although I'm fairly big all over.) That abdominal weight, on me at least, falls just in front of my butt, so it makes me look even more pear shaped than apple shaped.>>
