High Testoserone LevelsFrom: Ann (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 29 Jun 2002 14:50:01 -0500 (CDT)
I recently went to my endocrinologist to check on my thyroid. He sent me to have a complete metabolic blood work-up. Everything came back fine but my testoserone levels were high and I am scheduled to go back to the doctor in a weeks time. I was diagnosed with a thyroid problem when I was 9. Now at the age of 24, I have experienced different health issues. I have only had 4 periods in the past 7 months. This is strange to me because I have been regular for 12 years. Also, I have a slight discoloration on my neck and the doctor said it could be Insulin Resistance Syndrom. But I saw an article on PCOS and my systems were more like PCOS. I am wanting more information on PCOS before I go to my doctor.
