I went to a neurologist who recently diagnosed me with Neuropathy. I was having problems with my feet burning, tingling, pain, swelling, and sensitivity. My sugar is not high and never has been, but I am IR. My doctor believes that Neuropathy can develop from sugar/insulin imbalances, and not just high sugar alone. If your feet continue to bother you, it might be a good idea to see a Neurologist. I am currently on the medication Neurontin, a low dose which is working great, and along with physical therapy which includes deep tissue massage and electrical stimulation of my feet and calves, I no longer am having the foot problems at this time.
