QUESTIONS DOC DIDNT TELL" When I was taking the Provera on a monthly basis, my period started like clockwork 2 days later, 2 heavy days and then tapered off for 3-5 more. However, when I don't take it on a regular basis, it doesn't work that neatly. You could start bleeding before the pills are completed, but most likely within a few days of completing the regimen.
