Does any one know the size/weight of ovaries with pcos?? My dr believes I have all the classic symptoms of pcos and has sent me to a specialist to confirm this. The appt isn't for a few weeks so I wanted to ask if any one out there knows what size/weight the average ovary is? I had an ultrasound done at cd34, three days before my period to check for a possible miscarriage. No embryo was detected, but the technician recorded my ovary sizes as right = 33cc in volume and left 9.8cc volume. Does anyone know what this means? My dr had no idea (hence the appt for the specialist) and said it musn't be abnormal or the report would say it was and that it was probably the right ovary's turn to ovulate and that is why it was bigger.
