Actually, some women do have IBS symptoms only around their menstrual period, and some feel this is due to the levels of hormones that increase around that time. It is pretty dramatic, but at least one can treat as such. If you are having IBS then, then you are cycling. I have never seen a link between IBS and PCOS but I suppose anything is possible.
