Re: Laser hair removal and thinning hair?

Yay! Congratulations on your appointment! For me, laser feels like a bunch of rubber band snaps stinging against my skin. Luckilly, it goes by fast and then you should get a small cold pack to put on your face. Oh, and before they start the laser they put a cooling gel on you that protects your skin and I think had mild numbing properties (still hurts a little though) I always have a little redness afterwards, but it goes away in about 24 hours. As soon as the redness goes away I wax or pluck so I don't have to wait for the hair to fall out. (takes a few days to a week and I get impatient!) I don't think the laser will affect the hair on your head at all since it is so precisely directed at the follicles on your face. I am so happy for you, let us know how it goes!
