Hi anon...could you clarify if you lost the weight while on these meds....spiro,metformin and so on... then stopped taking them because of being able to controll your weight once you lost it?...or did you loose the weight while off of these meds?... I was told that once I loose enough weight while on metformin that there might be a possibuilty of maintaining it and stopping meds... this is yet to be seen..since I have only lost 35 lbs in 6 months while on met and need to loose 40 more.my ovulation has retunred and so have my periods due to the metformin and weight loss.My only fear is ballooning back up once I stop taking it..which I have seen many of my cysters go through =( Dona
