An Endocrinologist or a Reproductive Endocrinologist is often a better choice than a OB/GYN.

Changing your diet may help you feel better in some ways but may not be THE solution for everything. I definitely think you should try to find a PCOS friendly Dr. While you're looking, the diet changes are a good place to start.

If you have trouble following the Atkins plan, remember that just reducing/changing your carbs can be very beneficial.

Good luck!
