Hi there. First of all, please take comfort that there are many women on this board who are, or who have been pg recently. If your doctor knows little about PCOS, then changing doctors is a very good idea. Especially if you want children. Also, when you are ready to start trying for children, if nothing has happened within six months, I would see a dr then, and ask for some help. (I was told wait six months, then another six months and so on - it has now been nearly 2 and a half years, but we have found a good dr now.) (My mistake was not being pushy enough at the beginning.) There are hundreds of web sites that will give you very good information, but also reading through the archives of this forum is invaluable. There are a lot of very knowledgeable women on this site, that will be able to answer specific questions, I just try and offer morale support. Finding this group is a very good first move. Cathy
