My dr has me take 850mg at breakfast, 500mg at lunch, and 850mg at dinner. The lunch one is the hardest to take and I know it's probably not good for me, but if I can't stomach any food at the time I need to take it, I drink a glass of instant breakfast. Sometimes, it is sooo hard to eat..nothing sounds good or tastes good, it's the take a bite and it just gets bigger in your mouth when you try to swallow syndrome..lol The dosage works well for me, feel really good taking that amount. hth's
