I also had several small kidney stones. This started at the age of probably 17. My biggest problem through all of it has been this flank pain. Even when I am without infection, which I have been for about a year, I have this pain. I've been told everything from it's just sore muscles to it being my bowels. It is worse every month before and during my period as well as when I am hungry or too full. I have come to deal with it. Pain pills are the only thing that make it go away for me. I also have traces of blood in my urine regularly. They have never taken a sample from me without blood in it. Please keep me posted if you find out anything. I have often wondered if this all links together somehow. Anyone else with similiar symptoms?
