Hi Ang as to your question. Yes Polycystic Ovarian DIsease is the same as PCOS. The generic is the same and does cost less. My aunt used the men's formula and you should see how thick her hair is now. I realize not everyone gets the same results. I would suggest talking to your dr. about it before you try anything. I'm going to start on it the first of the month if my dr. okays it because my 10th high school reunion is coming up in Sept. and I want to show up all those witches that made fun of me. Most of them have gained in upwards of almost 100lbs. a piece. ANd I'm hoping that w/ the help of Glucophage XR I'll have lost 25-30 lbs. So far since last Thursday I've lost 5lbs.
