What were your symptoms? Was it just digestive type--- cramps, diahhrea, etc? Were you on Glucophage or generic met? I had taken Glucophage in the past and couldn't handle it. My doctor recently prescribed Glucophage XR (extended release form) and it was a lot different. Yes, I still had to run to the bathroom, but instead of all day, it was just once a day. You should be taking this with food. Another insulin blocker is Actos that I know of.
