Jenny, I have also wondered about taking Saw Palmetto, and I read some things about it, but I can't say I'm an expert and I haven't talked to my doc. What I read said that Saw Palmetto does interfere w/ BCPs. It also said that it is a diuretic, which made me think that it was not a good idea to take it in combination w/ spironolactone (which I am on for hair loss & hirsuitism.) I have been on spiro for about 8 months. My endo was adamant that I wouldn't see any results for 6 months, so hang in there.
