Renee wrote a GREAT response!

You don't need to be super upset. Yes, this is a chronic illness, and one that you have to take into account for the rest of your life. That sucks. BUT, it's not one that destroys your life - almost every aspect of it can be managed and dealt with and your life can be just like anyone else's if your PCOS is being treated right. I think of it kind of like having asthma: Yes, it's there, and you need medication for it, and so on; but it doesn't take over and change your whole life or make you an invalid or anything.

Let us know if we can answer any questions!
