For BCP's, the doctor responding on the women's health list indicated it wasn't a problem. Not sure on that one, probably need to research it myself and see if any studies have been done.

I've seen this news, too. I found it interesting that the cut-off is 198... so 199 and it won't work? :-)

I have wondered the same about BCPs. When I took Alesse, I spotted all the time. A friend of mine loved Alesse, had no problems with spotting. While I know that we surely have different hormonal make-ups, I wondered if this could have had anything to do with her being tiny (5'0ish, maybe high 90s or low 100s) and me being bigger (5'4ish, high 130s/low 140s...)
