What a great idea. Just wondering, did you have to have someone else drive you to the office? I just know how I would feel about driving during an "attack".

When I had just a GTT back in January of 1996, my fasting glucose level was 91, 1/2 hour was 130, 1 hour was 78, 2 hour was 77 and my 3 hour level was 58. I remember how awful I felt at the end of that test. They had to find some orange juice for me. My doctor then said, "Nothing is wrong. No one worries unless your level falls below 50." Good heavens. I can't imagine what I would have felt like at 50. Another time I had an "attack" I had a diabetic friend test my blood sugar and it was 55.

I know you have mentioned those attacks have diminished since you've been on Glucophage as well as having regular periods. Any other benefits you've noticed? What about any weight loss? Or did you not have to lose anything? How long did you take the medicine before you started noticing improvements (it seems like I remember you saying the periods became regular rather quickly).

Thanks again! Jessica
