Re: PCOS--too much estrogen or too much testosterone?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 12 Jun 2002 19:58:13 -0500 (CDT)
LOL for what its worth, my vet said that higher estrogen tends to keep women thinner yet it causes skin problems. He said that progesterone helps with the skin problems yet causes weight gain. None of that makes sense to me re pcos, endo, etc.. Maybe he is referring to "normal" women lol. I would love to know the true answer as to whether it is estrogen, progesterone, or what that causes "which/what". At least that way I would know whether to try a progesterone cream or one of the creams that contain both phytoestrogens and progesterone. I am soooo confused. Wish I knew of a brilliant dr to sort this out for me.
