i had to combine my glucophage with a moderate low carb diet. i started the glucophage in jan of 1999 (had never had a natural period in my life and weighed 363)...after 2 years (jan 2001) i had lost 100+ pounds and began having periods without provera (YAY i was so excited). in november of last year my husband and i conceived our first child after being married and having unprotected sex for 7 years. my son is due in august. if you haven't modified your diet, i highly suggest it. without my watching my carb intake, i wouldn't have lost the weight i did...please feel free to email me =)
