I noticed it yesterday while searching some older posts and found the information you had there regarding continuing metformin during pregnancy extremely helpful. You may have read in the thread I started yesterday that I'm 21 weeks pregnant and despite being followed by a number of OBs and other professionals, on Monday I received my first recommendation to come off metformin immediately. As indicated at the top of the article about met and pregnancy, I called Dr. Glueck's office after reading the article even though I didn't just find out I was pregnant. When he returned my call he told me in no uncertain terms to stay on my medication and offered to send me as much information as he can to give to my doctors. -- Michele D.
