metformin & vitamin deficiencies?

I KNOW I didn't spell deficiency right... at least I think I didn't... it looks weird.

ANYWAY... I seem to recall once reading about metformin blocking the absorbtion of certain vitamins, or something... that for whatever reason, you should be sure to supplement a few particular vitamins if you are on met, especially if you are TTC... I seem to think one of them was folic acid???

Does anyone know what I am talking about, or am I confusing met with olestra? (Ha ha, they have the same side effects...)

Which vitamins are they? If folic acid, and I take a centrum every day (which has 100% folic acid RDA) should I supplement further? If it is some other vitamin(s), should I supplement those further?
