No one can tell for sure. The XR has been a great benefit to many women. Unfortunately, we have had more than one come back to say that it did not work for them. You may not have had a period because your body is adjusting. I would expect that you should begin to see results within a few weeks.

Having said that, you may have months where you do not have a period, even on Glucophage.

The same is true about the Provera. I do not think anyone can tell for sure if you will have a period on 7 pills instead of 10. It would truly depend on your body. Since you have responded easily to Provera in the past, it would seem likely that you have a good chance to respond this time.
