UGGH! Rhinocort Aqua - I never could get the hang of that! Hubby takes it well but I felt like I was drowning. Rhinocort also makes a dryer spray if you should need it. :-)

Pros of taking 10 days of Prometrium instead of the natural progesterone cream that I can think of right off would include : 1) you know the exact dosage is being delivered, 2) it is less messy than the cream and 3) (personally) it works. I had some side effects with Provera but Prometrium works well for me.

Just because I am curious - how did your doctor tell you to take the Prometrium? Orally or vaginally? I have recently heard of some studies that are under way that indicate that by taking the Prometrium vaginally, you receive 90% more of the medication. (Example: If you are taking 200 mg of Prometrium orally, you may only be delivering 20 mg of the medication into your system.) I haven't tried this yet, but this is how my doctor is currently prescribing it.
