Diagnosed with Cysts on Ovaries

Hi, I am new to this site. I have been having bloating, pain and irregular periods for some time now. I am 33 and was on birth control about 3 years ago, but went off. I recently had an ultrasound and an inner scope done,as ordered by my doctor. The results came back, and apparently I have multiple cysts. I guess that is the polycystic disease. I am scared and do not want to have a hysterectomy at my age. I was wondering if there is any information available to subdue my fears. I have been trying to gather information on my own. The doctor is booking an appointment with a specialist hopefully this week. I know there are different procedures, but since I have multiple cysts would it be worse for me?
