My doctor has told me that the earliest HPT will detect at about 12 days post ovulation (dpo). I think there is a new First Response that is out that says 12-13 dpo should show. The CONFIRM HPT is also one that will detect fairly early. Of course bloodwork would show much earlier.

I am in a similar situation. With the clomid, don't get too impatient (I know how difficult THAT can be), I didn't begin ovulation until I was on 100mg of Clomid plus 1000 mg of Metformin. Plus my doctor explained to me that ovulation is like a dimmer switch and you've got to find the right combination to get everything in line together.
