Re: breast development with PCOS

Oh, I'm so glad that I'm not alone with this topic! I really thought I was a freak! I'm 36 and was finally diagnosed with PCOS just over a year ago. I never had a period (naturally) unless it was induced with Provera (which I quit since it made me sick to my stomach all the time). My mother never had any problems (except that she has developed Type II diabetes), so I often wondered what the heck happened to me. One thing that I've always been self conscious of (and still am) are my breasts. They seemed to have stopped in pre-puberty mode and really haven't done much since. I'm not married and have a tendency to "stick to myself" as I'm afraid of rejection from the opposite sex (as I just don't feel "normal"). I'm just glad to hear from others that have been there.

One more question: Has anyone had laser hair removal? I'm contemplating this procedure as I want to gain part of my life back and not have to worry about facial hair showing up! I appreciate any advice.
