Question about instant and regular oatmeal

What's the difference between instant and regular oatmeal? The instant is when it says cooked in one minute, right? I buy Quaker oats. Do they sell reg. oatmeal? How long does it take to cook reg. oatmeal? I just found out the instant stuff is not good for pcos.

Are there any types of grains that are good for us?
