it seems i've noticed a number of women here comment on having a tilted uterus... i'm curious as to how many of us here have them? i do... and it's something that's bothered me for a while. i think because when i read fried green tomatoes, one of the characters remarks that she wasn't able to get pregnant because she had a tilted uterus! now, i know this is supposed to have been 1930s medical knowledge, and therefore could well be outdated... but you know how things stick with you? i'm afraid that even if i overcome PCOS from an i'm-ovulating standpoint, the tipped uterus will keep me from getting pregnant anyway! not only is my uterus tipped, my cervix has always been sort of hard for some doctors to locate (probably because of the tipping...) I did once ask a doc if this would make it harder to get pregnant, and she said "No, the baby will come out just fine..." and I said "I'm not worried about it coming OUT, I'm worried about it getting IN there..." at which point she looked at me as if i were completely daft... what i mean was, can the SPERM get in...

so... how many of you have tipped uteris? how many have you gotten pregnant without having to overcome that specific problem? should i stop worrying about it? is it more common in PCOS or no? (I know its mentioned in Thatcher's book... but I think he comments on it in reference to it being more common in women with endo, which as far as i know i don't have... can you have endo and not know it?)
