Christine, when I was refered to the gyn about my PCOS he advised me on
diet, and while he told me to keep eating complex carbohydrates (but not
things like sugar or refined flour!) he strongly advised me to give up
dairy products. I asked why and he give some answer about the way thay
can affect blood sugar levels that I unfortunately don't remember if
full detail. Also, I've been bad and I haven't given up the dairy
products, so I can't really tell you whether it works or not. The gyn
told me that the latest thinking on PCOS was that you should not consume
dairy products and added that this meant giving up all the nice
things...all the cheeses and milkshakes that I unfortunately love.
