head hair

Hello. I do not seem to suffer badly with thinning head hair as a result of PCOS, but have noticed that the hair that grows on the crown of my head (where a man would go bald)is thinner and much dryer and coarser than the rest of my hair. It's irritating because the rest of it is thick and in really good condition. Has anyone else noticed this? I was diagnosed at 19. Thanks
