Reply: Barb: "Re: severe heat intolerance HELP!!!" Hello all, I have been diagnosed with pcos for 6 years and I am currently on glucophage. I have a new problem that I am now dealing with and wondered if it could be related to pcos. I have severe heat intolerance. I have tried to go out in the sun for the last week and every time I am in the sun more than an hour I start to feel weak, my hands and feet blow up like balloons, and my heart races, I get to the point where I have to come inside and take a cold shower to cool down. It is almost like I am having little heat strokes or something. Does anyone else have a problem like this? I thought maybe it could be a thyroid problem or something. I cannot get into my doctor for 3 more weeks and I don't want to be unable to leave my house all summmer! Anyone have a similar experience?
