Hi Everyone, I have been taking Glucophage XR for 3-4 weeks (not religiously like I should be... ne reason Icould never take the pill) and last week I had some spotting, very faint, but noticable. At the same time, I developed a UTI. Last UTI I had turned out to be a bladder infection with blood in the urine, when I thought I was spotting (thought I should of guessed I wasn't spotting because the blood was very brownish), but last week felt different. I had a discharge and felt "dirty" down there... but as soon as I started taking the medicine for the UTI, the spotting stop... So my question is, was there a possibility that the Glucophage was working and I was trying to have a period for the first time in a year, or did I have another bladder infection? Thanks, Jess P.S.
