Re: hypoglycemia/hyperglycemia and IR questionFrom: Pat (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 29 May 2002 19:55:38 -0500 (CDT)
GREAT suggestion: force yourself into a high insulin state. It is only temporary. I asked for my HG A 1C the last time I had labwork done, and ask for a FBS and Fasting Cholesterol and thyroid every time I have labwork done. I want to head this off as much as I can. I wouldn't jump into taking medications unless you really feel they are necessary, based on this, but at least you can prove something to yourself. I am really looking forward to the day when the glucose watch is available and reliable. I would like to know my blood sugar, but I don't want to stick myself to find out.
