Ok so I was really dumb - I went to a flea market all day Saturday and forgot my battalion of sun defense items.. Because of that and the fact that the part in my hair is a bit "wide" shall we say.. I got myself a nice sunburn on my forehead and scalp. I burn my damn scalp at least once every year and I hate it! I've tried wearing hats but that never works because my head sweats so darn much that I can't keep the hat on for very long. Anyone have any ideas of what a good way to keep it from getting burned is, aside from staying inside or wearing a hat? I've tried a couple of spray on scalp sunscreens but all they did was clog my pores and give me painful zits all over my head. Now I'm at the point where it's starting to peel and I have big chunks of skin in my hair! YUCK! Why can't I just have thick hair that will protect my scalp?!?!
