I have a book called "The World's Best Beauty Secrets, by Diane Irons..I believe she was a model in the 70's. I've seen her on several TV shows talking about natural, easy ways that work in beauty, diet and fashion (she has a few different books). She does mention the mayonnaise mask... "Apply whole egg mayonaise on your face (right from the jar) for about 20 minutes. Rinse with cool water." I would imagine that it's for dry skin...since mayonaise is greasy. Another one says "Tomato Mask" - For oily skin, mash up a ripe tomato and leave it onfor 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm (not hot) water. There are several in here, so I won't list them all...but it's a pretty good book and was inexpensive...I did the pepto-bismol face mask for sensitive skin years ago...:)) I love her homemade face scrubs - very cool!
