Lydia,

I am looking for some information as well.

the dictionary defines dowagers hump as

An abnormal curvature of the spine that is primarily manifested as a rounded hump in the upper back. Typically affecting older women, the curvature is a result of collapse of the spinal column, caused by osteoporosis.

I have signs of it at only 31 years old.. and have had it for about the past four years.. I have developed it after being on the birth control injections depo provera. Many women who have been on depo provera have emailed me about this hump on there back now.

My discussion board is at http://pub41.ezboard.com/fdepoproverafrm0

we are looking for more information on dowagers hump too and would appreciate any posts about it to the board above.

if you have also had horrible experiences with depo provera birth control injections please also visit my board at http://pub41.ezboard.com/fdepoproverafrm0

to discuss this in further detail. thank you. Shelly
