I had surgery to remove excess skin from the left labia minora 5 years ago and it was the biggest mistake I ever made but I'm glad that you have done so well since that surgery. Did your dr ever explain what caused you to have this? I know we had talked at length about this last year but I can't remember if we ever had any ideas as to possible causes for this happening. I do know that it seemed like my right labia minora was getting a little larger than it should have been but so far it seems to be ok now. Also, in case you are wondering it was not a gyn that did the surgery on me, it was a urologist. Pls don't ask me why a urologist. You would have to ask the family dr that I had at that time. I had the surgery back in May of 1997 and for 10 months I felt good but by Mar of 1998 things went downhill from there and have bigger problems down there now.
