You may still be IR. You might still want to watch the carbs, especially if you have PCOS symptoms. While you may not have problems now, you don't know know if they may not grow into something worse.

From: anonymous@obgyn.net (ellen) Subject: Another question on Insulin Resistance

I have all the other symptoms of pcos, but do I have insulin resistence if I am really thin and have no trouble loosing weight? Do pcoser's watch their sugar and carb intake in order to maintain their weight or in order to control their pcos symptoms? I am really bad with the sugar and carb thing b/c I can't stop eating them. If I am not concerned with the weight thing, could I eat whatever I want? Would that effect my pcos symptoms like hair growth and acne? please help. I am so confused...
