Re: Telling people at work you have PCOS

I think telling my work colleagues about it is all that has saved my job. I miss a lot of work. I am lucky to pull 32 hours a week. I work in a small business with less than 30 employees and there are only about 5 people I will see on a weekly basis, including my boss. So I keep them all posted when they ask, mostly about the hypothyroidism and sleep apnea, so that they know that I am progressing in my treatments/options. I feel that this has clued them in and helped them understand what I'm going through so that they don't think I am just a slacker in the amount of time I have to spend at home or at doctor's appointments instead of working for them.
