Hi everyone. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS after I took an article in to my doctor. He did an ultrasound and I had no cysts on my ovaries, however I have all of the other symptoms IN THE EXTREME. Is my diagnosis right? He has me on 1500mg of Glucophage and 200mg of Spironalactone, with OrthoCyclen for my oral contraceptive. Is this normal medicine? I'm also pretty scared about all of this. I'm 25 and overweight. I have some pretty significant hair loss and my doctor said if I take my medication my hair will grow back. Is this true? Also, with the random hair growth (chin, abdomin) is there a way to stop it? Any help or advice would be GREAT. Even if you can just tell me what to expect. There's so much information, I'm not sure where to turn
