I'm also on 1500mg xr, I just increased my dose about 2 months ago from 1000. I was only tired the first couple of months.

Like you I work out, I usually get to the gym 4-5 times a week for cardio and strength training.

I have mild PCOS and started with slight IR (By tests, lots of pronounced symptoms).

You might need time to adjust to the new formula of glucophage, you might need less of it, but here are some other things to look at:

Calories consumed. If you're working out you should be consuming between 1600-1800 calories a day.

Hydration - are you drinking enough water? What about sports drinks. There are more and more sports drinks without sugar, Smart Water is one that will give you electrolytes but no sugar or calories.

Also check thyroid.
